Communication Support for the Activities of the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders

Background:

Approximately 1,800 defenders of "Azovstal" are in captivity, including 900 "Azov" fighters.

Goal:

  • Support the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders through communication campaigns.
  • Remind the public and the international community about the necessity of freeing the defenders of Mariupol.

Beneficiaries:

  1. Families of the defenders 
  2. The Ukrainian public and international community
  3. Ukrainian and international media covering the issue

Format:

  • Organizing interviews with fighters who have returned from captivity and relatives of those who remain in captivity;
  • Conducting information campaigns to highlight the activities of the Association;
  • Creating video content — viral clips for significant dates related to the Association and the "Azov" Brigade;
  • Collaborating with government authorities and establishing connections in the interests of the Association.

Outcome:

Over 100 interviews and reports in Ukrainian media.
