Second Visit of Media Representatives from Latin American Countries to Familiarize Themselves with Ukraine and Establish Sustainable Communication Ties

Background

The need to ensure access to truthful and reliable information about Ukraine, Russia's war against Ukraine, and Ukraine's stance in defending its freedom and independence.

Goal

To strengthen ties between Ukraine and Latin American countries through their media, ensuring the dissemination of truthful information about events in Ukraine, particularly the protection of children and the situation with political prisoners and prisoners of war; to establish a sustainable dialogue between Ukrainian and Latin American authorities.

Format

A press tour to Ukraine for nine journalists from Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Chile), meetings with Ukrainian authorities and civil society representatives, as well as participation in the Fourth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen and the Crimea Platform Summit.

 

Outcome

Strengthened informational, cultural, and business ties between Latin American countries and Ukraine.
